This is a very detailed book on stumpwork embroidery. However, if you're looking for a collection of all the different embroidery and needlework techniques, I would recommend the Royal School of Needlework's Book of Embroidery.

It has everything covered in this book plus other techniques and a variety of stitches/5(25). Author, Jane Nicholas, description is most profound using simple embroidery stitches to make georgeous designs of people, fruit, bugs, flowers.
